If you tried to reach the Grant DNA Project via the Rootsweb site, that link is dead and cannot be updated. You can find us at: https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/grant
The Grant DNA Project is administered by three of the participants who stepped forward to serve as co-administrators. While each is a volunteer, they are assigned by FamilyTreeDNA.com with the understanding that participant’s personal information shall not be used for personal use or distributed to anyone for any reason without permission of the participant(s). The administrators role is to have oversite of the project and monitor the results of the various tests and inquiries. They also try to group participants with similar test kit results. With this blog site, the administrators will be able to expand thoughts for others to read.
It is important to note that we are not genetic experts and may not be able to answer some of your questions. The Help link on FamilyTreeDNA’s website is a good resource for many of your answers.
From time to time, broadcast messages are sent to the entire group regarding news that may be of interest to participants.
You can contact the co-administrators through their email address located under the Contact Us tab.
